Monaco Portal Helper

Install the Chrome helper extension to make Latest Builds bulk downloads reliable and visible from the portal UI.

The helper is a small Chrome extension. Download the packaged zip, unzip it locally, then load it as an unpacked extension.

Download Portal Helper Back to Latest Builds
Use this extension for the Latest Builds tab. The portal will automatically detect it and switch from browser fallback downloads to helper-managed downloads.

What It Does

  • Starts downloads through Chrome's downloads API instead of synthetic link clicks.
  • Shows active, completed, and failed counts back inside the Latest Builds cards.
  • Keeps multiple downloads running without silently missing files.

Install Steps

  1. Download Portal Helper using the button above and unzip the archive.
  2. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions.
  3. Turn on Developer mode in the top-right corner.
  4. Click Load unpacked.
  5. Select the unzipped portal_helper_extension folder.
  6. Reload the Monaco portal tab, then return to Latest Builds.
  7. Confirm the release card says Portal Helper active. If it says Browser download fallback active., reload the extension and refresh the page.

Quick Check

After the helper is installed, the Latest Builds card should show helper-driven status instead of batch/family fallback text.

Troubleshooting

  • If the portal still shows browser fallback, reload the extension in chrome://extensions.
  • If you updated the portal or extension files, reload both the unpacked extension and the portal page.
